Hansen's Resort features a great Snow Tubing and Saucer Hill at their South Lake Tahoe facility. Their 400-foot-long hill is open to all ages. The resort provides either tubes or saucers. Participants follow a trail up to the top of the hill.
Twin groomed runs have side-walls to keep sliders in their tracks and avoid collisions as they follow a gentle curve down the slope. At the bottom of the hill is a small burm to bring everyone to a safe stop.
Parking is free for participants. Toilets are provided. A snack shack is available for hungry participants. Hansen's gets high reviews from patrons, partly because of the friendly people who run the tube hill.
