Tube Tahoe opened in South Lake Tahoe with groomed tubing lanes, up to 500 feet long. Snow-making facilities allow them to keep the runs well supplied with snow; grooming machines make sure the runs are smooth.
Children ages 2 - 5 must ride in a tube with an adult when using the large hill. Children must be at least 42 inches tall to ride alone on the large hill. Besides the main hill, Tube Tahoe offers a Children's Tubing Hill where youngsters can play. Outside equipment is not permitted at Tube Tahoe. Tube rentals are included with each ticket. Helmets are available for rent, but not required.
Among the benefits of tubing at Tube Tahoe are great views of Mt. Tallac and Echo Summit. Tubing is first-come, first-served. Parking is limited to 50 designated spots in the neighboring Holiday Market lot where a parking attendant will guide you to the proper spot. Parking is not allowed on the shoulder of Highway 50 or outside the designated area.
