Traditional saucers or plastic sleds are provided to participants. The smaller hill has a paved path that participants use to walk to the top of the hill. The bigger hill has wooden steps along the side of the slope. Heated, clean restrooms are available close to the bottom of the hill at the parking lot.
The sled hills are operated by North Tahoe Winter Adventures, which also oversees snowmobile rentals for adults ($60 for ½-hour). North Tahoe Winter Adventure's office is located near the parking lots.
Tahoe Vista Treetop Adventure Park, located within North Tahoe Regional Park, offers zip lines among the trees. The zip lines are open on select dates in the winter. Check their website for details.
