When snow falls in Incline Village, locals take to the driving range next to the Chateau Clubhouse at the Incline Village Championship Golf Course. Gentle slopes provide a wonderful place for children to enjoy sliding or playing in the snow.
Participants walk back up the hills. Visitors provide their own saucers and tubes. There is no charge to use the area.
The Incline Village Championship Golf Course is a par 72 course in a scenic, award-winning layout. The Chateau at Incline Village features banquet rooms, rock fireplaces, a clubhouse restaurant and bar, and a portable dance floor. It is a beautiful destination for weddings and other events.

From the center of town in Incline Village, take Village Boulevard north, and then turn right on Northwood Boulevard. After several blocks turn left onto Fairway Boulevard and follow it up to the parking lot by the Chateau Clubhouse.
When the snow play area at Incline Village is lacking snow, the best alternative is to drive up Highway 431 toward Mount Rose. As soon as you see lines of cars parked along either side of the highway you know you have reached the spot: Tahoe Meadows Sledding Hill. This informal sledding hill is on the north side of the highway. Be aware that there are no facilities and you must bring your own equipment.
