Wolverton Snow Play is the most popular destination for winter visitors in Sequoia National Park looking for a good sledding hill. At an elevation over 7,000 feet, Wolverton often has snow when lower elevation spots are bare.
There are no facilities at Wolverton other than heated restrooms, but visitors make their own snow runs for saucers and tubes and have a great time building snowmen, lobbing snowballs, and making snow angels.
