Boreal Tahoe Tubing is part of the Boreal Mountain Ski Resort on Donner Summit. The tubing hill features 2 moving carpets to transport guests to the top of the hill and groomed tubing lanes.
The hill is open to all ages who stand 42 inches or taller. Children must be able to ride in their own tubes and not on another person's lap.

Boreal Mountain Resort is accessed off Interstate 80 at the top of Donner Summit, Exit 176. The Tahoe Tubing hill is located at the far end of the parking lot.
Participants purchase a 90-minute-session tubing pass which includes all-day access to snow play. Pedestrians who are not using the tubing hill pay a small fee and are free to play in the snow, a perfect choice for parents who don't want to slide but want to interact with their children in the snow.

Boreal Mountain Resort Current Conditions
One of California's Sno-Parks is located off the same exit as Boreal Mountain Resort. At the exit instead of turning right to the ski area, turn left to the Sno-Park. At the exit, instead of turning right to the ski area, turn left to the Sno-Park. A permit is required to park at the Sno-Park from November 1 through May 30. Day permits are $55, season permits are $40.
The Donner Summit Sno-Park is popular with cross country skiers and snowmobilers. The level area around the parking lot is good for snow play, but there are no sliding hills.
